Chelsea's 24th birthday

Chris took me to see the broadway play "Wicked"! 

My loving parents drove to San Diego just for the day so they could join us and be here for my birthday. They are so good to me! 

Chris and I thought we looked just as fancy as these posers. haha  

My presents! The Sandals are from my mom. She went shopping with me  along with Chris and my dad to help me find the perfect summer sandals. I love them! Grandma Virginia got me those sweet erasable pens! I was just telling her the day before I thought they were so cool, and she went out and got them for me! She is so thoughtful. Wally and Suzann got me those really nice headphones for playing WOW.   We raid together so they knew I wanted some new ones! They are also such thoughtful people! I am so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing humans.

Speaking of amazing humans....let me introduce you to one of my favorites! Chris was so thoughtful and service oriented all day. He treated me with so much love and kindness. (He always does) The one fun difference about my birthday is that I got my way all day! We did everything I wanted to do, and he did it all with a smile and love. I am so lucky! I love him so much it hurts! <3

THE LICH KING!!! 

You would think by this photo that we are friends with the Lich King, but in actuality we are enemies and come out victorious in an epic battle. We just thought a photo op before the battle would be cute.

The Lich King casted Fury of Frostmourne and killed all of us and rendered us unable to release our spirits! Our souls belonged to the Lich King! The Lich King and Tirion had an epic surprise battle during which Tirion destroys Frostmourne using the Ashbringer. The ghost of Terenas Menethil II appeared and resurrect us while the spirits that were trapped inside Frostmourne held the Lich King in place. The Lich King became immobilized, and we finished off the Lich King! Thank you Ghost of Terenas Menethil and Tirion for saving us. I was not ready to have my soul taken.

Family Croquet

Our family loves playing croquet! (thanks to Chris) We were trying to kill time before Logan Cooley's wedding. It was the perfect time killer. Not all of us had our best match, but we played hard and did our best. Dad ended up victorious and put the rest of us to shame. There was one hole that we all had trouble with. Poor Chris was over there for a while. It was up hill, so if you didn't get in the hole on your way up, it came right back down to where it was before. My mom had some color blind issues and kept hitting everyone else's ball except her own. So that was fun. Brooke was in last place pretty much the whole time, and Brandon was pretty consistent with his game. I was the first to lose. All in all, a really good match!

Croquet Champion

Chris is sad. It was probably one of his worse games ever. It was pretty bad...But at least he knows the difference between red and yellow.

My mom is adorable.

 

This is my mom. She is amazing. This is pretty much how she looked every morning while I was in high school! haha My mother is so selfless and serviced us like crazy! Every morning without fail she would wake up with all of us and make sure we got goodbye hugs and kisses and had a morning family prayer...Even when I went to early morning seminary that started at 5:50am! I never once had to question my moms love for me and I think I take that for granted. Its hard not to when all I know is a loving, caring, and nurturing mom. But the older I get the more I realize how truly blessed I am.

I know I should give more than a general and generic, Thank YOU!, but it is such an overwhelming and daunting task to try and number all the many wonderful things you have and are doing for me! I hope you know how grateful I am. You're just going to have to trust me. ; )

Onto Bigger and Better things!

Chris had his last day working with Playdom/Disney today. It was a pretty dramatic and emotional day, but we are excited for Chris' bright future ahead of him! He left that company to go work with MobScience, another start up company! He is really excited to grow and learn more in his field. It should be a great experience for Chris! 

Chris was of course asked to clean out his desk...I found it funny the random object he had at his desk to keep him company while working with Playdom... 

We are both excited for this new job opportunity for Chris. But there is one down side...

Goodbye Disneyland silver passes. =( We enjoyed you while we had you.

Disneyland Pins

Ruben and Lorenzo picked the Indian Jones pin for us because they really liked the ride and thought it looked cool. We also had a lot of fun on Grizzly River Rapids. They got so wet and loved it!

Chuck and Julie came into town and Chelsea got to hang out with them and get to know Viv! She had so much fun. Chuck is from Canada hence the Canadian pin Chelsea picked out. 

Chris and Chelsea went to DisneyWorld in Flordia with Wally and Suzann. They visited every park in two days!

This kid got soaked on Grizzly River Run. It was hilarious.  The Rowen family was a lot of fun!

Chelsea invited four of her friends she has made since living in San Diego. They had so much fun! 

Happy Anniversary to us! 

We stayed in the Grand California Hotel with Wally and Suzann.  One of the best trips to Disneyland. Staying in a hotel right by Disney is great. We got early entrance and then came back to the hotel in the afternoon and enjoyed the pool and took naps. it was great. 

Emmy, Josh, Becca, and Chase came into town to enjoy some California sun

Emmy and Josh came to California for a cruise, but before they left they enjoyed Disneyland with us. Emmy was pregnant with a little boy so thats why we chose that cute baby Mickey pin
